Tell the Truth — The Second Movement of the House

Truth is not exposure. Truth is not shame. Truth is not confession for confession’s sake.

Truth is alignment — the moment your inner world and outer world stop fighting each other.

To tell the truth is to say:

“This is where I really am.”

Not where you wish you were. Not where you pretend to be. Where you are.

This is the doorway to every Room in the House.

What Tell the Truth Really Means

  • Naming what’s real — without editing, performing, or spiritualising.
  • Letting your soul speak — instead of your expectations.
  • Dropping the mask — even the “Christian” one.
  • Standing in the light — gently, not fearfully.
  • Letting God meet the real you — not the curated version.

Truth is not a threat to God. Truth is the place He begins.

Why Telling the Truth Matters

Because God can only transform what you’re willing to name.

Truth:

  • Breaks the illusion
  • Releases pressure
  • Opens the heart
  • Invites healing
  • Creates alignment

Honesty is not weakness. Honesty is wisdom.

How to Practise Tell the Truth (Simple, Gentle, Doable)

  • Finish the sentence “The truth is…” — and don’t edit what comes out.
  • Name one feeling — even if it’s messy or unclear.
  • Write one honest line — not a paragraph, just a line.
  • Say it to God plainly — no performance, no polish.
  • Tell one safe person — if you feel led.
  • Sit with what surfaces — without rushing to fix it.

Truth doesn’t demand action. Truth demands presence.

The Posture of Tell the Truth

  • Soft shoulders
  • Unclenched jaw
  • Open hands
  • Steady breath

Your body often knows the truth before your mind admits it.

A Blessing for Telling the Truth

May you have the courage to stop hiding. May you have the grace to name what is real. May you feel God’s kindness meeting you in the place you’ve avoided. And may the truth become your freedom, not your fear.
