Midweek Practice — Carrying the Quiet

Midweek Practice — Carrying the Quiet

1. Pause (1 minute)

Take a slow breath.

 Let your shoulders drop.

 Let your mind settle.

Let your heart remember: God is here, even in the middle of the week.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

2. Read (2 minutes)

Choose one Scripture and sit with it:

• Isaiah 30:15 — “In quietness and trust shall be your strength.”

• Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will carry it on.”

• James 4:8 — “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

Let one line become your anchor for today.

3. Reflect (3 minutes)

Ask yourself:

• What did God stir in me recently?

• Where do I feel rushed or unsettled?

• What small rhythm helps me stay steady today?

You don’t need a conference moment to meet God — you need awareness.

“Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” — Genesis 28:16

4. Practice (2 minutes)

Choose one simple action for the rest of today:

• One Scripture

• One prayer

• One pause

• One encouragement to someone

Small rhythms keep big encounters alive.

5. Becoming Statement

Say this out loud or quietly:

I Am Becoming Steady.

Not just in the high moments —

but in the quiet middle of the week where God grows me.
