Founder’s Message — A Week of Steadiness

Founder’s Message — A Week of Steadiness

Some weeks feel like the ground moves beneath your feet. Your schedule fills. Your thoughts scatter. Your heart feels stretched thin.

But Scripture keeps calling us back to one truth:

God steadies what feels shaken.

This isn’t motivational talk — it’s the consistent witness of the Word.

The Steadiness of God in Scripture

“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) When everything around you speeds up, God invites you into stillness — not inactivity, but awareness.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” (Isaiah 26:3) Peace isn’t random. It’s the fruit of a mind anchored in Him.

“My peace I give you; not as the world gives.” (John 14:27) The world gives temporary relief. Jesus gives lasting steadiness.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” (Psalm 23:1) Steadiness begins with remembering you are led, not left.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14) Stillness is not weakness — it’s trust.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Your steadiness grows when you stop carrying what He asked you to release.

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15) Strength is found in returning, not striving.

A Word for This Week

Philip, this week I believe God is inviting the House into a slower, deeper rhythm — not because life is calm, but because He is.

Steadiness isn’t the absence of pressure. It’s the presence of God.

So let these Scriptures be your anchor. Let them interrupt your hurry. Let them steady your breath. Let them remind you who holds you.

You are Becoming Steady. And God is shaping that in you through His Word.
