I Am Becoming Who God Sees
Share
There are moments when you look at yourself and only see the cracks — the mistakes, the missed chances, the parts you wish were different. But God sees something else. He sees the person He imagined before the world ever named you. He sees wholeness where you see brokenness, purpose where you see confusion, and beauty where you see failure.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” — Ephesians 2:10
The Vision of Becoming
You are not becoming someone new. You are becoming who you already are in His eyes — the person He spoke into existence with love and intention.
Every time you choose grace over guilt, every time you forgive yourself, every time you stand back up after falling, you are stepping closer to His vision of you.
“The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7
God’s gaze is not critical; it’s creative. He sees the seed of His image in you, and He calls it good. He calls it chosen. He calls it His.
“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” — 1 Peter 2:9
You are not defined by what you’ve done, but by what He’s doing in you. You are not shaped by your failures, but by His faithfulness.
“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” — Isaiah 49:16
You are not behind. You are becoming who God sees.
