I Am Becoming New
Share
There are seasons when everything familiar begins to fall away — old patterns, old fears, old ways of seeing yourself. It can feel like loss, but it’s really transformation. God is not erasing you; He is revealing you.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
The Holy Work of Renewal
Becoming new is not about pretending the past never happened. It’s about letting God breathe through it — turning ashes into beauty, turning endings into beginnings.
“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’” — Revelation 21:5
You are not being rebuilt from scratch. You are being restored to your original design — the one God imagined before fear, shame, and striving took hold.
Every time you choose grace over guilt, every time you forgive yourself, every time you let go of what no longer fits, you are stepping into newness.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” — Isaiah 43:18–19
This is not a sprint. It’s a slow resurrection. A daily decision to rise again, to believe that God’s mercy is fresh every morning, and that you are still becoming.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
You are not behind. You are becoming new.
