I Am Becoming Brave
Share
There are moments when fear feels louder than faith — when the unknown stretches wide, and your hands tremble at the thought of stepping forward.
But even here, in the trembling, in the uncertainty, God is teaching you courage. Not the kind that shouts, but the kind that stays.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord your God goes with you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6
The Quiet Strength of Courage
Bravery is not the absence of fear. It is the decision to move anyway — to trust that God is already in the place you’re walking toward.
It is the steady breath before the leap, the whisper that says, “I am with you.”
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — Psalm 56:3
You are not called to be fearless. You are called to be faithful. To stand in the tension between fear and trust and choose presence over panic.
God does not demand perfection from your courage. He simply asks for your yes — your willingness to keep walking, even when your knees shake.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
Bravery looks like showing up again after disappointment. It looks like forgiving when it hurts. It looks like believing that healing is possible, even when the evidence is still forming.
You are not behind. You are becoming brave.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1
